Connection & Ports

The ControlGo device features various connection ports for power, data, and DMX/RDM communication.

Here’s a detailed list and description of each port:

Connections

  1. DMX/RDM OUT with XLR5P: This port is used for DMX and RDM output via a 5-pin XLR connector. It can also serve as a DMX input when using an appropriate adapter.

  2. WEIPU SA6 - DC IN 12-48V: A DC input port that accepts a voltage range from 12 to 48 volts. It uses the WEIPU SA6 connector for stable power input.

  3. WEIPU SA12 - Remote Connector and Power: This port is used for remote control and power. It features a WEIPU SA12 connector, providing both connectivity and power to remote devices.

  4. USB-A: A standard USB-A port for connecting memory devices. This port can be used for data transfer and firmware updates.

  5. USB-C: A versatile USB-C port that supports memory, data transfer, and power input. It adheres to the PD3.0 standard, supporting a voltage range of 5-12V.

Connections

  1. BATTERY SLOT: NP-F or V-Mount (through adapter) battery slot. More information on compatible batteries can be found in the dedicated section.

  2. 1/4" Threaded Mount: This threaded mount is used to attach poles and other accessories, such as stands or mounts, to the ControlGo device.

Inside the ControlGo device, there is a built-in TimoTwo card, which manages wireless DMX and RDM communication. For more details on configuring the TimoTwo card, please refer to the CRMX Settings section.
