Settings Screen

The Settings menu allows you to customize various aspects of your ControlGo device. This section covers the available configuration options to help you set up your device effectively.

UI Settings​

In this section, you can adjust the visual aspects of the ControlGo interface to suit your preferences:

  • Key Backlight: Use this option to toggle the backlight of the physical buttons on or off, depending on the lighting conditions and user preference.
  • Display Brightness: Select a percentage to set the intensity of the display's backlight, which is useful for optimizing visibility in different environments.

Wi-Fi Configuration​

From this screen, you can connect your ControlGo to a Wi-Fi network. This connection allows access to the internet for future software updates, library updates, and to utilize online features.

Time Settings​

The Time section allows you to set the date and time on your ControlGo device. This is important for logging and scheduling operations accurately:

  • Clock Format: Choose between a 12-hour or 24-hour time format.
  • Setting Time and Date:
    • Press the white backlit encoder to start editing the time.
    • The hour field will light up white. Rotate the encoder to adjust the hour, and press it to confirm and move to the minutes field.
    • Continue the process to set the minutes and date. Once all fields are set, the numbers will display in white, indicating successful entry.

Library Management​

This section provides an overview of the number of fixture libraries stored in your ControlGo memory. You can add or manage libraries to ensure that all needed fixtures are readily available. Refer to the Library Management section for detailed instructions on managing fixture libraries.

Firmware Update​

The Firmware Update function lets you keep your ControlGo device up to date with the latest features and security improvements. For step-by-step instructions, refer to the Firmware Update section.

Device Information​

The Info page displays critical information about your ControlGo, such as:

  • Installed Firmware Versions: Displays firmware versions on the ControlGo boards and CRMx TimoTwo module.
  • Memory Availability: Shows the available internal memory, helping you manage space for fixture files and show data.

Support​

From the Support screen, you can scan a QR code to visit www.controlgo.it. This website provides access to libraries, manuals, and further support resources.

Reminder

Regularly updating the firmware ensures that your ControlGo is operating with the latest features and improvements. Additionally, keeping your fixture library organized will make setup faster and more efficient.
